President Donald Trump on Wednesday said the 90,000-square-foot facility will cost “about $300 million” — up from the previously released estimate of $200 million.

Trump has said the ballroom will be paid for by himself and donors, with no taxpayer money being used.

The donor list included these companies with Bay Area ties:

Apple, Cupertino

Coinbase, digital currency. Founded in San Francisco and has an office there, though it claims no physical headquarters.

Google, Mountain View.

HP Inc., Palo Alto

Meta Platforms, Menlo Park

Microsoft. Based in Redmond, Wash., but has a significant Bay Area workforce, including at a Mountain View hub.

Palantir Technologies. Founded in Silicon Valley; headquarters moved in 2020 to Denver.

Ripple, financial/blockchain, San Francisco.
