The Milwaukee Bucks were able to rally past the Toronto Raptors in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals on Wednesday night not because of Giannis Antetokounmpo, who had a good game, but because of Brook Lopez, who had a monster game.
In a game that featured a number of big-name players, it was the veteran Lopez not only giving the Bucks a ton of energy down the stretch but also a number of big-time buckets, as he finished with 4 3-points and a team-high 29 points on the night, including 13 in the 4th quarter.
Brook freakin’ Lopez!
The Bucks rallied from double-digits down to win 108-100.
If Game 1 was any indication of how this series will be played we’ll gladly take six more of these, because this was a fun one all the way until the final minute when the Bucks created some separation.
Kawhi Leonard and Kyle Lowry both had over 30 points for the Raptors, who came so close to stealing Game 1 on the road.
But Lopez was the story, who was so pumped up at the end:
He had so much swagger after this huge three:
He did it on the defensive end:
And he had this key dunk in the final minutes:
After, he talked about what it took to get the comeback win:
Everyone was in awe of him:
Yes, it was The Brook Lopez Game.
29 points – 13 in the 4th quarter – 11 rebounds, 4 blocks.
