Three men have been arrested after a father was stabbed to death in what police believe is a ‘targeted attack’ outside a luxury casino in central London.

Blue Stevens, 24, died after he was attacked in Seville Street, Knightsbridge, at around 9.30pm on July 9.

Two men were arrested in Hounslow on Saturday. One man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and remains in custody, while another man was arrested on suspicion of murder and has been bailed.

Suspected murder victim Blue Stevens was a loving father of two, family said

Following their arrests, officers obtained a warrant to search two properties in Chiswick where significant evidence was recovered, the Met said.

A third man was arrested on Monday on suspicion of assisting an offender and remains in custody.

The incident took place near The Park Tower Knightsbridge hotel and restaurant Nusr-Et, run by Turkish chef Nusret Gokce, aka ‘Salt Bae’.

Detective Chief Superintendent Christina Jessah said: ‘These arrests mark a significant milestone in this complex and unfolding murder investigation. We continue to progress at pace.

‘While we retain an open mind around motive, one line of inquiry is now that this may have been a targeted attack.’

His partner, who was with Blue when he was attacked, wrote in a card nestled amongst the growing floral tributes: ‘To My Blue.

‘We are all absolutely devastated without you.

‘You took a piece of my heart with you. A part of me has gone with you. I love you more than absolutely anyone in this world.

‘My boy forever and always.’

A cousin told Metro: ‘He had two lovely kids and was a loving father he lived for his children.

‘He was such a nice person, a real good person.’

The Park Tower Casino was first built in 1973 and refurbished in 2002. It features a five-star, 251-room hotel with a casino on the ground floor.

Its premium location in Knightsbridge is just around the corner from Hyde Park and close to Harrods and Harvey Nichols, with its rooms offering views of the iconic London skyline.

Police are calling on anyone who saw the attack or has any information to get in touch.
