TLC, Alanis Morissette, Blake Shelton added to ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ lineup

No scrubs should be in Times Square when TLC helps ring in 2025.

The Grammy-winning R&B group was announced Tuesday as part of the latest additions to the lineup for the 54th edition of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest.” T-Boz and Chilli will take the stage in Times Square to perform several hits from their seminal album “CrazySexyCool,” which celebrated its 30th anniversary in November.

Alanis Morissette, Blake Shelton, T-Pain and Reneé Rapp were also among the batch of performers added to the event’s previously announced lineup, led by country star Carrie Underwood.

Performing live from the West Coast multiple times throughout the night, Morissette will sing songs from her 1995 album “Jagged Little Pill,” with Rapp joining her for a duet of “You Oughta Know.”

Rapper T-Pain, jazz fusion star Laufey and pop singers Kesha and Natasha Bedingfield will join in on the West Coast fun, along with DJ Cassidy’s “Pass the Mic Live!” featuring Ja Rule, Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh and Fat Joe.

Shelton, meanwhile, will perform some of his biggest hits live from Las Vegas, while “Despacito” singer Luis Fonsi will take the stage in his native Puerto Rico.

Lenny Kravitz, Tinashe, Teddy Swims, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Cody Johnson, Thomas Rhett and CMA New Artist of the Year Megan Moroney were previously announced as performers in Times Square.

Rita Ora once again returns as co-host alongside Seacrest, who’s marking his 20th year commandeering the holiday staple.

“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” airs live Dec. 31 on ABC, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The special will be available for streaming on Hulu the following day.
