Seren’s schoolfriends have now began a fundraiser to help parents Stephen and Sarah with the costs of her funeral following her death at Amman United Rugby Football Club.
Cari Bradshaw said: “I’ve set up this page because my friends and I would like to raise money to help Stephen, Sarah and the family with the costs for the funeral and memorial for our very special friend Seren.
“Seren was suddenly taken from us all on Saturday 16th of November, she’s left a big hole in all our hearts and we miss her very very much.
“Please donate if you can to help us raise as much money as possible to help Seren’s family.
“Any donations will be greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small.”
Family, friends and schoolmates have already raised more than £6,000 in a heartwarming show of unity.
The Welsh Ambulance Service said an ambulance, first responders and an air ambulance were called to the club at 9.55pm.
Amman United Rugby Football Club has postponed all matches last weekend as a mark of respect.
