Drivers are facing delays on the M25 motorway this morning because of a massive lorry fire between J26 and J27 in Epping.

A spokesperson for National Highways said: ‘The M25 has been blocked both ways between J27 (Epping) and J26 (WalthamAbbey) due to a lorry fire. Updates to follow.’

Traffic is currently closed anti-clockwise between J28 and J27 in Essex because of another fire.

Essex Police are on the scene right now with National Highways Management in a bid to help ease traffic this morning.

Drivers are facing around ten minutes of delays, with about one mile of congestion currently on the road.
