Two men and two women arrested over ‘murder’ of baby ‘who died camping with family’

Paramedics raced to reports that a child had gone into cardiac arrest at the site. One witness said she directed paramedics towards the area around the fishing lake. Police and PCSO's lined the area around the pond. Drone images show at least four tents and camping chairs positioned next to eachother, close to fishing platforms. Two men and two women have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a three-month old baby died while camping with family.

The baby girl died while camping in woodland with her family in Great Wyrley.

Emergency services were called to a report of a child in cardiac arrest at Strawberry Lane, near Cheslyn Hay, Staffordshire, at 8.35am on Saturday.

An air ambulance was sent to the scene but the child was pronounced dead by paramedics a short time later, Staffordshire Police said.
