A woman was sexually assaulted in the Loop on Friday, and during the incident two men, including the assaulter, were stabbed, police said.
A 24-year-old woman, who was walking on the sidewalk, was sexually assault around 4 p.m., Chicago police said. She was near the 200 block of N. State Street in the Loop.
Following the assault, a physical altercation with nearby people then began, initially between the man who assaulted the woman and another man, 25, police said.
During the fight, another woman, 36, jumped in and stabbed the 31-year-old man in the right eye with a knife. She also stabbed the 25-year-old man in his wrist.
Both men were taken to Northwestern Hospital for their lacerations in “good condition,” police said.
The woman, 36, was taken to the hospital for observation.
The investigation into the incident was ongoing as of Friday evening, and no further information was available.
