Britain will send Ukraine 150,000 more drones to defend itself after dozens managed to cause carnage in Moscow.
The deal worth £750million is funded by the UK’s £2.26 billion Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration (ERA) loan to Ukraine funded by siezed Russian assets.
Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves said the funding is helping deliver the ‘vital military equipment Ukraine needs as it defends itself against Russia’s unprovoked war.’
She said: ‘Our support for Ukraine is steadfast. I am proud that we are providing vital support, and we will continue to do all we can to keep pressure on Russia.’
This morning Ukraine unleashed its biggest attack on the Russian capital so far – caused significant damage across the city as air defences struggled to repel drones.
