Universal Studios Hollywood will close its gates for a second day in a row due to gusting winds that have fueled a series of deadly and destructive wildfires across Southern California.
Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal CityWalk will be closed Thursday, Jan. 9 due to extreme winds and fire conditions.
“The safety of our team members and our guests is our top priority,” said the Universal website.
Four wildfires burning across Los Angeles County that have killed at least five people and destroyed more than 1,000 homes remain 0% contained.
Universal Studios Hollywood and Six Flags Magic Mountain both closed on Wednesday, Jan. 8 due to the extreme winds and fire conditions.
Magic Mountain is scheduled to reopen on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
