Update: Heat advisory in place for Los Angeles County until Thursday evening

Los Angeles County is the focus of an updated heat advisory released at 10:20 a.m. on Tuesday by the National Weather Service. The advisory is in effect until Thursday July 16, at 8 p.m.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA informs, “Temperatures up to 103 degrees.”

“There is a high risk for heat illness for sensitive populations including the very young, the very old, those without air conditioning, and those active outdoors,” according to the NWS.
