Update: Heat advisory issued by the NWS from Wednesday to Monday

Los Angeles County Inland Coast including Downtown Los Angeles and Ventura County Inland Coast are included in an updated heat advisory issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 12:33 p.m. The advisory is valid from Wednesday 10 a.m. until Monday July 27, at 8 p.m.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA informs, “Hot daytime conditions with high temperatures between 88 and 96 common. Warm overnight conditions will bring less relief than usual.”

“There is a high risk for dangerous heat illness, especially for sensitive groups like the very young, the very old, those without air conditioning, and those active outdoors,” according to the NWS.
