Update: Los Angeles County under a heat advisory Tuesday and Wednesday

Los Angeles County is under an updated heat advisory which was released by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 12:48 p.m. The advisory is valid from Tuesday 10 a.m. until Wednesday Oct. 29, at 7 p.m.

According to the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA, “Temperatures up to 93 degrees expected.”

“There is a high risk for heat illness for sensitive populations including the very young, the very old, those without air conditioning, and those active outdoors,” the NWS said.
