
A manhunt has been launched after a woman plunged to her death from a block of flats in Southampton.
The incident happened at around 2.43pm on Thursday to Cuckmere Lane, near Redbridge Rail station.
Emergency services found the 25-year-old woman with ‘significant injuries’.
She was rushed to hospital, but died there the following day despite the efforts of doctors.
A murder investigation has since been launched, but no one has yet been arrested.

Hampshire Police said they are looking for a man who they believe was at the address when the fatal fall happened.
Any detail of his identity or his connection with the woman have not been released as of yet.
Officers are pursuing lines of enquiry and are conducting patrols in the area of Cuckmere Lane as their murder probe gets underway.
A spokesperson said: ‘Officers are pursuing lines of inquiry to identify a man within the property at the time of the incident.’
Members of the public have been urged to report any concerns to officers at the scene.
The woman’s family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
