WATCH: Kangaroo spotted hopping through Durango streets

A kangaroo gave three Durango police officers a late-night workout after wandering away from home and taking an evening hop through the southern Colorado city’s streets, according to a video shared by the Durango Police Department on Wednesday.

The small red kangaroo easily hopped away from the police officers who tried to beckon it with whistles and tongue clicks, according to the video timestamped just after 11 p.m. on Sept. 18.
