Where to watch July 4th fireworks, drone shows, July 2-5 in the LA County area

Celebrating July 4th at a fireworks show after a barbecue or a picnic with family and friends is a tradition all across the United States.

This year we’re celebrating the 250th birthday of the founding of the United States of America — of the document stating the “Unanimous Declaration of Independence of the Thirteen United States” from Great Britain — that was approved by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776.

Start planning to see professional fireworks or drone shows this year. Some events include a festival before the “light up the sky” displays. Most shows have free admission. Some shows, however, require advance ticket purchase (although you may see fireworks and drones from the surrounding area).

Here is a sampling of July 4th fireworks or drone shows listed first by date and city/neighborhood in Los Angeles County, and also Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.
