The White Sox’ game Thursday night against the Braves was rained out. It will be made up Aug. 20, a mutual day off for both teams, at 1:10 p.m.
The Sox already had won the series, beating the major-league-leading Braves 6-5 in 10 innings Tuesday and 2-1 on Wednesday.
Left-hander Anthony Kay (5-1, 4.40 ERA) was scheduled to start for the Sox. He moves to Friday in the opener of a three-game series against the Dodgers.
The Sox are in first place in the American League Central by a half-game over the idle Guardians, who were just swept by the Yankees.
