Harry Maguire has reportedly decided whether to sign a new contract with Manchester United or accept a lucrative offer from the Saudi Pro League.
The England defender moved to Old Trafford from Leicester City in 2018 in a deal worth £80million and served as club captain for several years.
To date, he has made 253 appearances for the Red Devils, winning the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
While his time at the club has been a rollercoaster of highs and lows, overall he is considered one of United’s better signings in the post-Sir Alex Ferguson era.
Maguire’s time in Manchester might be coming to an end however, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season and his place in Ruben Amorim’s starting XI not guaranteed.

The 32-year-old has started just two Premier League games so far this season, with Amorim’s preferred back-three being Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Luke Shaw.
He is free to negotiate a move to a foreign club in January, with Saudi Arabian sides Al-Ettifaq and Al-Nassr, the latter captained by his former United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, interested in his services.
However, it was reported last week that the Red Devils were no longer prepared to let Maguire leave on a free and were in talks with the veteran centre-back over a new deal.
And The Mirror now report that Maguire is willing to stay at the club and even see out the rest of his career at Old Trafford.
The defender is wary that a move to the Middle East would all but end his England career and he is still hopeful of playing at next summer’s World Cup and adding to his 64 caps.
However, he will only sign a new contract with United providing the terms are right and he is seeking assurances from Amorim that he will be an integral part of his team going forward.
Talks between the club and player will take place over the next few weeks, with Maguire, who will turn 33 in March, knowing this could be the last major contract of his career.
Discussing his future last summer, Maguire said: ‘Over the next few months they’ll sit down and we’ll have a conversation about where we want to go and if they want to extend.
‘I have something in my mind about what I want to do and what I want to be. It’s an amazing club to play for and you’d be silly if you wanted to jump out of it as soon as you could.’
Maguire was not called up by Thomas Tuchel for England’s latest fixtures, so he will next be in action when United visit arch-rivals Liverpool next Sunday.
