Aaron Glenn Makes Brady Cook Announcement Before Pats Rematch

There won’t be any quarterback drama for the New York Jets this week.

Head coach Aaron Glenn announced during his media availability on Monday, December 22, that rookie quarterback Brady Cook will remain the starting quarterback.

“Brady will be our starting quarterback,” Coach Glenn responded when asked if he will stick with Cook.

Up next for the Jets is the final home game of the season against the New England Patriots.

Coach Glenn Explains His Quarterback Decision

“Listen, there were some things in that game. I think if you go back and watch the beginning of the game, I thought he was doing a really, really good job. But as the game progressed, I will say this: between Brady making some mistakes, between the protection of the O-Line, between some of the concepts we had for him — all of our hands are involved in the mistakes that happened during that game. I thought he did a really good job at the beginning of that game, managing the game the right way,” Coach Glenn explained.
