As someone who has lived 20 years in the public spotlight, there’s not much about Aaron Rodgers‘ personal life the public doesn’t know about. However, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback’s marriage remains a mystery.
Previously, Rodgers’ dating had been well-publicized with some big-name significant others in his past. However, when he showed up to Steelers training camp with a wedding ring despite no real rumors of any kind, reporters had to ask if it was even a wedding ring.
It was, Rodgers confirmed, revealing he got married over the offseason. With whom he tied the knot remains a bit uncertain, although we can only presume he married a woman named Brittani, someone he previously mentioned in interviews as his girlfriend.

Rodgers, who has preferred to keep his personal life as private as possible in the later years of his career, hasn’t offered many specifics about his relationship with Brittani. He has, however, been adamant that she has completely changed his life. In an interview with NFL Network in late July, Rodgers spoke glowingly about married life.
“When you meet the right one, and you’re with the right one, your whole world changes in a second,” Rodgers told NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt at Steelers training camp this summer. “To have that person who unconditionally loves you behind the scenes, there’s no better feeling. I’ve got the most incredible wife. I just really love her. I’m so thankful to have her by my side at the end. When you have that stability and rock behind you at the house, you feel like you can do anything.”
It also sounds as if Brittani prefers to stay in the shadows, at least for now, as Rodgers revealed this summer on an episode of “The Pat McAfee Show.” It was during a December interview he revealed her name but wouldn’t offer much else.
“It’s a sick society, isn’t it? I lived in the public eye for 20 years. I had a public relationship. How did that work out? Now I’m with somebody’s who private, who doesn’t want to be in the public eye, didn’t sign up to be a celebrity.”

That, as Rodgers alluded to, is a sharp change compared to his past. Rodgers’ highest-profile relationship came with famous racecar driver Danica Patrick. They dated for about two years before breaking things off in 2020. That didn’t end well; Patrick claimed after the split that Rodgers was “emotionally abusive.”
Rodgers then dated actor Shailene Woodley. Apparently that wasn’t quite as bad as the Patrick breakup, at least not for Rodgers compared to Woodley. While Rodgers has largely kept quiet about how it all went down, Woodley said in 2024 that “I haven’t shared much about my relationship with Aaron because it always makes me cry,” she told Outside magazine, per People.com. ” … It was not right. But it was beautiful.”
Oh, and also, Rodgers dated actor Olivia Munn, a relationship that was largely blamed for his ongoing rift with his family in the Ian O’Connor biography of the four-time MVP.
Eventually, Rodgers learned a lesson.
“I didn’t do myself any favors with some of the girls I dated after that that were in the public eye,” Rodgers admitted in a Netflix documentary about his life in 2024, per People.com.
As such, it might be a while before we learn more about Brittani.
