Alan Shearer has provided his latest Premier League predictions as we had into another busy weekend.

It’s a quick turnaround for everyone after a full midweek schedule with leaders Arsenal facing a tricky assignment away to Aston Villa.

Chelsea also have another tough trip on the road against Bournemouth who have lost their way of late with no wins in their last five.

Leeds are looking for another big night at Elland Road as they welcome Liverpool on Saturday evening with Manchester United rounding off game week 15 away to Wolves on Monday.

As ever, England legend and Betfair ambassador Alan Shearer has revealed his Premier League predictions to Metro.

Aston Villa vs Arsenal

The run that Villa are on is fantastic, they are flying. Arsenal have had a big test in the last seven days, the played Tottenham, Bayern Munich and Chelsea, and got two wins and a draw, I think that was a very good week for them.

Now it’s another really important week for them with this game at Villa and they have Champions League as well next week. So, there’s no doubt that this is going to be a massive test for them because of the form Villa are in and who’s going to be fit for them as well. It will be interesting to see who is fit for them too. So that’s why I’m going to go for a draw.

Prediction: Draw.

Everton vs Nottingham Forest

This is a tough one to call. Everton going away to Man United and winning with 10 men, then being battered at home, then going away again and winning. It’s really tough.

Sean Dyche has done a great job at Forest and has got them playing the way they were when they had that fantastic season.

I think with the form Forest are in, and if Forest play, I’m going to go for a Forest away win.

Prediction: Nottingham Forest win.

Newcastle vs Burnley

Nothing other than a home win would be acceptable for Newcastle. The form Burnley are in, they’re away from home, Newcastle are at home. It won’t be as easy as everyone thinks for Newcastle to have enough to beat Burnley.

Prediction: Newcastle win.

Man City vs Sunderland

This is an interesting one, I thought Liverpool would have beaten them in the week but you have to give huge credit to the way Sunderland played, they were brilliant and I guess they will probably be disappointed to come away with just a point because they deserved to win.

I think City will have too much for them though in this one. So, I will go for a home win.

Prediction: Man City win

Tottenham vs Brentford

Spurs are terrible at home and they will feel huge pressure. I have to say I thought they did well sticking together to get the point at Newcastle, coming from twice behind.

I wouldn’t be backing them at home to Brentford, no way, so I’m going to go for a score draw.

Prediction: Draw.

Bournemouth vs Chelsea

This is a tough one. Bournemouth have slipped up and haven’t been great for a while. I’m going to go Chelsea away win despite what I saw in midweek against Leeds.

Prediction: Chelsea win.

Leeds vs Liverpool

Again, how can I say Liverpool will win with any confidence? Especially when you consider what the atmosphere will be like. Leeds will go after them. I can’t say Liverpool are going to win, I find it difficult to say.

So, I’m going to say Leeds home win. I don’t see anything in Liverpool that gives me any confidence that I can say that they’re going to win.

There is nothing in Liverpool’s game that I saw in midweek and I’ve seen in them this season that I could say with hand and heart that they’re going to go there and win because I just don’t think you can.

Prediction: Leeds win.

Brighton vs West Ham

This is tough one for West Ham I think, albeit they got a good point against Man United. I think Brighton will have too much for them though.

Prediction: Brighton win.

Fulham vs Crystal Palace

I really like Palace. Fulham are in a bit of form as well, to score four goals at home against City and to come away with nothing was harsh. I thought they did really well and they put up a really good fight.

However, I’m going to go for an away win for Crystal Palace.

Prediction: Crystal Palace win.

Wolves vs Man United

Wolves can’t score goals, they can’t pick up any points. Man United don’t give me any hope though. But I think because of this poor run that Wolves are in I am going to have to say a United win, but I’m not convinced.

They’re on course to break Derby’s points record. They just don’t score any goals. There hasn’t really been an upturn of form since Rob Edwards went there, which I guess is not a big surprise because he’s not a miracle worker. The answer is I’m not sure they can.

Newcastle had a bid turned down for Strand Larsen, I’ve not seen anything this season, and it might be unfair on him I guess, but I’ve not seen anything to suggest that that money would have been well spent.

Prediction: Man United win.
