Liverpool boss Arne Slot has provided an update on the fitness of Alexander Isak, Alisson Becker and Jeremie Frimpong ahead of the clash with Real Madrid on Tuesday.
All three have been out of action due to injuries, with Alisson and Frimpong struggling with hamstring problems and Isak dealing with a groin issue.
It is bad news for the Reds ahead of the enormous Champions League tie as all three will be missing at Anfield.
There is another mammoth clash on Sunday as Slot takes his team to Manchester City and both Alisson and Frimpong will still be missing for that match.
However, Isak may still be involved and hopes to be back on the substitutes’ bench at the Etihad.

‘All three are unavailable for tomorrow,’ Slot said of the injured trio.
‘Jeremie and Alisson will both also be not available for Sunday. With Alex we have to wait and see.
‘Definitely not starting on Sunday but maybe he can be involved in the squad. He’s still not training with the team so we have to wait and see.’
In the absence of those three star names, Hugo Ekitike has been playing up front, Giorgi Mamardashvili is starting in goal and Conor Bradley at right-back.
That was the case in the win over Aston Villa on Saturday and is likely to be the same against the Spanish behemoths at Anfield on Tuesday.
Midfielder Curtis Jones is expected to be back in the squad after missing the last two games due to a minor injury.
The 24-year-old has returned to training with the first team and is believed to be available against Real Madrid.
How will Anfield react to Alexander-Arnold?
Plenty of focus on Tuesday will be on former Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold, who will return to Anfield with his new club.
The England full-back might get a spicy reaction from the Reds fans, but Slot is looking forward to a player he enjoyed working with last season.
‘I can only tell you what reception he gets from me. I have great memories of the player and human, my vice captain,’ said the Dutchman. ‘I have memories working with him that are only positive.
‘I watched him in front of the television and only great memories of him in a Liverpool shirt. He will get a warm welcome from me but let’s see how our fans react, I have no clue. A warm welcome from me, that is for certain.’
Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch had a similar message, saying: ‘From the fans, I don’t know what reception he will get. But when I see him he is a friend of mine.’
