The Chicago Bears were able to get the job done on Sunday, crushing the Cleveland Browns at Soldier Field, 31-3. It was a much-needed bounce-back win after losing to the division rival Green Bay Packers in Week 14.
As a result of Sunday’s victory in Chicago, the Bears get back on track before facing the division rival Packers in Week 16, which will be played in the Windy City.
One play in particular from star quarterback Caleb Williams during Sunday’s win over the Browns impressed Bears head coach Ben Johnson.

Williams made an incredible throw to star wide receiver DJ Moore for one of two touchdown connections between the two during Sunday’s game against the Browns.
Johnson was asked about Williams’ impressive touchdown pass to Moore and said the following during his media availability.
“I’d say 99% of the quarterbacks, you tell them, ‘Don’t even waste your time looking back there and trying to make that throw,’” coach Ben Johnson said. “There’s usually bad things that happen. And yet, he’s got the ability to make that throw. DJ made a heck of a play there right on the back line, as well.”
Although Williams still has a lot left to learn about playing the quarterback position in the NFL and being a team’s undisputed leader under center, there’s no denying he’s had a solid season with the Bears so far.
After the team’s 10th win of the season, Williams has thrown for 3,150 yards, 21 touchdowns and only six interceptions (tied for 10th in the NFL) while being on track to make the NFL playoffs.
Caleb Williams Reacts to Micah Parsons’ Injury

After witnessing Micah Parsons of the Packers going down with a severe knee injury on Sunday against the Denver Broncos, Williams reposted the following tweet, showing support for the superstar linebacker.
On Monday, the news was announced that Parsons had indeed suffered a season-ending torn ACL, which is devastating news for the superstar linebacker and his team.
Parsons took to social media after learning the news that he would be sidelined for the rest of the 2025 campaign and potentially for the majority of next season.
“I may be sidelined, but I am not defeated,” Parsons said. “This injury is my greatest test—a moment God allowed to strengthen my testimony. I believe He walks with me through this storm and chose me for this fight because He knew my heart could carry it. I’m deeply grateful to the Packers organization and my teammates for their unwavering support, love, and belief in me during this season. I trust His timing, His plan, and His purpose. I will rise again.”
Along with Parsons going down for the season, Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes also suffered a torn ACL on Sunday, ending his season.
The NFL lost two of its biggest stars in one day, as the league inches closer to the start of the NFL playoffs.
