Beau Greaves has stormed through the first two rounds of the UK Open in Minehead on Friday afternoon, hammering her opening two opponents 6-1.
The 21-year-old is making her debut in the major PDC event and has taken to the unique atmosphere of Butlins, Minehead impressively.
The Doncaster star kicked off her day with a 6-1 win over Stefan Bellmont and then beat Rhys Griffin by the same scoreline.
It is a relentless first day and she will be back for her third round clash before Friday afternoon is over against veteran campaigner Mickey Mansell.
After beating Griffin she told ITV: ‘I’ve been really comfortable both games I’ve played. Rhys didn’t play how he can do there, but I had to get on that and just try and get through.
‘I’ve enjoyed both games I’ve played today and looking forward to the next one.’
Remarkably, she didn’t even know that she was due to be playing in the UK Open until a friend let her know.

‘To be fair it’s one of the competitions I like watching the most because of how random it is, with all the different boards,’ she said.
‘I didn’t even know I was in this comp until someone text me! Everything’s just a bonus. I’m really enjoying all the darts I’m playing. I’m loving just being in this environment and it’s a new experience for me, I’m playing well, I’m winning, so I’m happy.
‘I’m just trying to take it in my stride and enjoy everything I play in. I’m just enjoying what I’m qualified in and having a nice time. It’s a weekend away and a right trek from Donny so I’m definitely making the most of it while I’m here.’
Greaves played her first game on the main stage and will be back there for her clash with Mansell before 5pm.

It has been an encouraging start to 2025 so far for the South Yorkshire talent, with some impressive results on the Challenge Tour.
She does not hold a PDC Tour Card, but is looking very strong in the amateur game, winning two Challenge Tour titles already this year.
Her performances earned her a place in the second Players Championship event of the season on the main tour and she made an impression there too.
Her first victory on the PDC ProTour came in some style as she averaged 102.7 to beat Josh Rock 6-5 in the first round in Wigan earlier this month.
