The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for an exciting season, even after a few difficult preseason losses, including that doozie to the Chicago Bears on August 17. That’s all in the past, and it was just the preseason, anyway, so hopefully MVP-winning quarterback Josh Allen will be ready to rock when the season starts.
It’s already been a big year for Allen. Earlier in the year, of course, he won the Most Valuable Player away at NFL Honors. That was huge for Allen on a professional level, but he also had a great personal moment when he married actress Hailee Steinfeld over the summer.
Now, Hailee is an actress and influencer, so she’s not shy about sharing details about her life, and now, that life includes Josh. On Friday, August 29, she sent out the latest version of her newsletter and shared some details from her fantastic summer with Josh.
Hailee Steinfeld Promises Something This Fall
Josh and Hailee’s summer wedding was one of the biggest weddings of the year in the entertainment world. Of course, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce from the Kansas City Chiefs will probably top them a bit, but that’s another story.
Now, Hailee has announced that she’ll be sharing lots of details from her wedding planning this fall. In the Beau Society newsletter, she noted, “Because you all loved our wedding issue so much, I’m planning to publish a fun deep-dive on wedding planning in the fall. I’m going to bring on some friends to help.”
A few other tidbits from the newsletter include that she’s “trying to take my mornings a little slower lately,” she noted. “It’s a work in progress, but I’m feeling motivated to take my time getting out of bed and doing a yoga or Pilates class instead of a hard gym workout. A gentle start to the day.”
She also noted that Josh has really turned her onto golf. “Before I met Josh, I’d never played 18 holes of golf in my life, and that changed very quickly,” she stated. “This summer we played a lot. For the record, women’s golf clothes have gotten really good! I love Malbon. I wear my stuff from them — this and this — all the time, even when I’m not playing.”
Buffalo Bills Quarterback Josh Allen is a Cook
It turns out Josh is a cook, too. “Surprising summer pick, but when I had a summer head cold a few weeks ago, Josh made me my favorite matzo ball soup, and I believe it cured me,” she said in the newsletter.
As for her own cooking, Hailee says, “Over the past few weeks, my go-to dinner has been orzo with chicken and artichokes. Sometimes I’ll throw in some mushrooms, too. So easy and so good.”
Hopefully the good food will help Allen live up to the hype this season. Ahead of the new season, Ralph Vacchiano at Fox Sports released his 2025 NFL power rankings and put the Buffalo Bills at No. 4 on the tally. He said fantastic things about the Allen in his piece, noting that, “”As long as they have MVP Josh Allen at quarterback, they should reside in the top five.”
