Denver Broncos cornerback, Pat Surtain II, will be sidelined for the next few games, after suffering a pectoral strain against the Dallas Cowboys last weekend.
But that does not mean that he won’t be saying things online and to the media.
Speaking on his podcast, “Closed On Sundays with Pat and Terrion“, on Wednesday, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year spoke to guest, Christian Gonzalez, of the New England Patriots.
And in the exchange between the two players, Surtain had some kind words to share with the third year All-Pro corner.
“One thing I love about your game.” Surtain said to Gonzalez. “Patient. Technique, patient. Seeing your eyes be at the right spot, your feet being in the right alignment. I ain’t going to lie, I respect your game heavily for sure. You make it look so easy bro.”
Gonzalez has had a whirlwind of a start to his professional career, which started with strong play in 2023 before a season ending torn labrum cut his rookie year short. He followed this up with an even better 2024, which eventually saw him earn second-team All-Pro accolades.
