Along with losing to Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos in a potential Super Bowl preview in Week 15 at Empower Field at Mile High, the Green Bay Packers may have lost superstar linebacker Micah Parsons to a potential season-ending knee injury.
Parsons went down during Sunday’s game while trying to tackle Nix. He immediately knew he suffered a serious injury, as he was grabbing his knee in pain. It was a non-contact injury, which is always the most severe in terms of its impact.
It’s feared that Parsons has suffered a torn ACL, which would result in him missing the rest of the season while also jeopardizing his playing status for the 2026 NFL season. A costly loss for the Packers, to say the least.
Patrick Surtain Sends Message to Micah Parsons

After Parsons went down with the injury during Sunday’s game in Denver, Broncos superstar cornerback Pat Surtain II was devastated to see his close friend dealing with an injury that could keep him sidelined for quite some time after having an impressive first season with the Packers, via James Palmer of The Athletic.
After the game, Surtain spoke to the media and expressed his thoughts on Parsons’ situation.
“It’s very tough, man,” Surtain said. “Micah, we have a good relationship. He’s a great player in this league. When you got a player like that who goes down with that type of caliber, obviously, you feel for him.
“My prayers are with him and his family through this process. It’s tough, but I know he’s going to bounce back.”
With the Packers losing their best defensive player, it will almost take a toll on the team moving forward and impact Green Bay’s chances of winning it all this season.
Packers Get Update on Christian Watson’s Status

Parsons wasn’t the only notable player for the Packers to suffer an injury during the head-to-head battle with the Broncos on Sunday. Star wide receiver Christian Watson also went down, suffering a chest injury in the third quarter. He headed to the locker room in pain and was ruled out for the rest of the game.
Although the injury didn’t look good, leading some to speculate he could miss more time this season, Watson’s dad took to social media to fire back at the “haters” and claim his son is fine.
The loss of Parsons and Watson would be devastating for the Packers heading into Week 16’s divisional clash with the Chicago Bears. Green Bay is in a head-to-head battle with the Bears for the NFC North division title and will need to be as close to full strength as possible on both sides of the football heading into this crucial matchup.
Watson has been one of the best players on the field for the Packers since he made his return from a torn ACL that he suffered in January.
In eight games played since returning, Watson has caught 28 passes for 481 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
