Bucks Trade Idea Dumps Kyle Kuzma for $68 Million Sharpshooter

The Milwauke Bucks have no choice but to put a contender on the floor this upcoming season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is already reportedly evaluating his options around the league, including the New York Knicks according to Shams Charania.

And once summer 2026 begins, the 2021 Finals MVP becomes extension eligible, and the real decisions will have to be made.

Considering how the 2025-26 season goes will determine if Antetokounmpo will sign an extension with Milwaukee. Alternatively, he may use his leverage of having one year remaining on his deal to force his way elsewhere.

If the Bucks want to keep their homegrown superstar happy and appeased, they’ll need to improve their roster.

Despite solid offseason moves, the way it’s currently constructed will most likely end in a fourth straight first-round exit for Milwaukee.

Bucks Trade Idea Lands Clippers’ Bogdan Bogdanovic

In a trade proposal by Fadeaway World, Eddie Bitar has the Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers and Brooklyn Nets agreeing to a three-team trade.

Milwaukee Bucks receive: Bogdan Bogdanovic, 2031 second-round pick (BKN)

Los Angeles Clippers receive: Terance Mann, 2029 second-round pick (BKN)

Brooklyn Nets receive: Kyle Kuzma

Milwaukee is able to move off Kyle Kuzma’s bloated contract. Moreover, they land a shooting specialist to pair with Antetokounmpo as they attempt to contend in a weakened Eastern Conference.

“Bogdanovic’s ability to hit threes off the catch or create his own shot out of screens makes him an immediate offensive upgrade on the wing, giving Milwaukee a badly needed perimeter threat who can punish defenses that collapse on Giannis. More importantly, Bogdanovic’s presence helps balance the floor spacing in Milwaukee’s starting lineup,” wrote Bitar.

“With Myles Turner anchoring the middle and Bobby Portis providing inside-out scoring, Bogdanovic completes a modern offensive core built around shooting and mobility. His veteran instincts and proven production with the Hawks show he’s capable of thriving in a complementary role alongside Giannis. This is something the Bucks have struggled to find outside of their main rotation.”

Bogdan Bogdonavic isn’t the All-Star player that the Bucks want to pair with Antetokounmpo for the next five years.

But, its a step in the right direction proving to their two-time league MVP that they’re serious about building out the roster around him, and could potentially sway him next summer in staying with Milwaukee.

Do the Clippers and Nets Agree to the Deal?

The Los Angeles Clippers and Brooklyn Nets shouldn’t be opposed to this trade. This is thanks in part for the assets they receive.

Los Angeles brings back a solid depth piece in Terance Mann, who played six years for the franchise.

“For a Clippers team transitioning toward a new era, having a young, athletic, and battle-tested player like Mann is critical. This maintains competitiveness in a last-ditch effort with Leonard as their star,” Bitar explained, citing why the Clippers would make the trade.

“The addition of a second-round pick also strengthens the Clippers’ long-term flexibility. Bringing back Mann is more than just familiarity, it’s a practical step toward restoring depth, energy, and defensive stability to a team that’s often struggled with consistency and availability.”

As for Brooklyn, they acquire a player in Kuzma who they can either play alongside Michael Porter Jr. or use as a trade piece to pick up more draft capital for their rebuild.

“His scoring mentality and championship experience from his Lakers days give Brooklyn a more confident and composed presence during crunch time. More importantly, this move gives the Nets a chance to evaluate Kuzma as a potential franchise cornerstone or future trade asset,” continued Bitar.

This three-team trade only helps all parties involved, and could be key for each team acheving their goals ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season.
