DANNY MULLINS was turning heads at Listowel races – but not for anything he was doing in the saddle.
The top jumps rider and Tote ambassador instead got a load of stick for his new haircut, described as ‘wrong on so many levels’.
Top jockey Danny Mullins is known for his untamed, curly hair… but sported a very different look at Listowel (pic below)

Mullins is known for floppy black curls but had scrapped that look entirely for a style more like rapper Coolio in his song Gangsta’s Paradise.

A photo of his new do was viewed well over a million times online.
Sadly, predictably, not everyone was a fan.
In a recent interview Mullins said people would tell him all the time his hair was ‘awful’.
That was back when it looked a great deal better than this.
One punter dubbed Mullins ‘A$AP Jockey’ while another said: “Give him a month’s ban for that. Oh my.”
Others thought he looked like Nineties Peter Andre while some were certain he must have lost a bet to look the way he did.
Unfortunately, Mullins’ new do didn’t prove a lucky charm on the track either.
He came a brave third in the Kerry National on 28-1 Lucid Dreams – but finished a mile back of runaway winner Flooring Porter.
