Does Karoline Leavitt Work in Cincinnati Bengals’ Customer Service?

The Cincinnati Bengals continued their descent into the abyss on Sunday with a painful 34-12 beatdown at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was brutal to watch, the team fell to 3-7 and it really doesn’t matter if/when they get Joe Burrow back.

One Bengals’ season-ticket holder apparently has seen enough and decided they no longer wanted ownership of eight (nine if you’re “lucky”) regular-season home games while being forced to pay for 1-2 preseason games every year. The option to purchase post-season tickets probably wasn’t even on the table, nor should it be.

Reddit user Ralry11 took to the popular social media platform to explain what happened when they called to say they didn’t want any parts of being a 2026 Bengals season-ticket holder.

In a post titled, “If you canceled your season tickets how’d it go?,” Ralry11 said that the team’s ticket office was anything but kind and understanding to the cancellation request.

“I called today to cancel my Bengals season tickets for next year and the whole conversation felt super guilt-trippy and argumentative,” Ralry11 said. “I was asked if I only wanted to be a season ticket holder when we go to the playoffs and am I just being emotional for losing to the Jets.”

Could you imagine if this was the response you go when you tried to cancel your Comcast cable service? “Sir, are you overreacting because TruTV is really just a 24-hour ‘Impractical Jokers’ re-run marathon?”

Cincinnati Bengals approach ticket sales like they approach defense

If you think the Bengals’ defense is poor, wait until you hear about their customer service. Instead of being empathetic towards a hard-working Cincinnati denizen who doesn’t want to continue to spend thousands watching the football equivalent of Venezuelan drug-boat videos (and rooting for the boats), the Bengals’ ticket window went on the attack.

“They asked why I was unhappy so I said that I’m frustrated with the front office — mainly the lack of a real scouting department, bad drafts, and how the prices keep going up steeply every year since I joined,” Ralry11 continued. “Instead of just taking the feedback, they got defensive and said things like this is the front office who drafted Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins. The last thing being asked to me was if I wanted cheap tickets or to pay Jamar [sic] Chase and Tee Higgins.”

Re-read the last sentence. How absolutely hilarious is that? Do you want cheap tickets or do you want superstars to watch?

To be clear, I wasn’t there for this exchange, nor have I heard audio proof that this took place. That said, there is no way that this didn’t happen.

In fact, one user replied to the question of whether or not the Bengals are getting similar calls from other fans. “They are,” Late_Emotion_8716 said. “My husband called today about ours and had a similar experience.”

Is Mike Brown working customer service for the Cincinnati Bengals?

It’s highly unlikely that a Bengals’ 800 number goes directly to the team owner’s office. But, given what we know about Mike Brown’s spending habits and the nature of this response, anything is possible.

Without getting political, anyone that watches the news can see the similarities between Bengals’ customer service and a Karoline Leavitt White House press conference. Don’t validate the current paying customer’s concerns with compassion and understanding, just attack them for being a fake news season-ticket holder. We gave you Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, you disrespectful ingrate! I’m putting you on auto-renew and towing up your parking privileges! There is two-hour parking at the Jungle Jim’s International Market 16 blocks up the street!

Add public relations to the list of things the Bengals simply can’t get right. They treat their players and customers like the low-level peons that they are. Teams with three Super Bowl rings in their closets don’t act like this, where do the Bengals get off?

It does make one wonder: Were the operators told to act like this or does this attitude just permeate the corporate culture? Maybe this is why they are dead last in NFL franchise value.
