The Dutchman signed a three-year deal at Old Trafford in 2022, when he left Ajax for the Red Devils.
Ten Hag, therefore, is halfway through his tenure at the club and he’s faced plenty of challenges during his second season at the Theatre of Dreams.
INEOS’ stake in the club is set to be ratified by the Premier League in the next fortnight and they have already appointed new CEO.
A head of recruitment and new sporting director are set to follow, then a decision will be made on Ten Hag’s future at the end of the season.

The remainder of the season is effectively an audition for Ten Hag to remain United boss and it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that INEOS could extend his deal.
But Ten Hag says the focus, for now, remains on the team.
‘We speak about many subjects but I can’t go into detail, especially when it is so personal,’ said Ten Hag.
‘First, the most important thing is the club.
‘It’s about the club, about the team and how we have to work to high standards to achieve our targets.
‘It’s not about any individual person.’
