Chelsea have made an indifferent start to the campaign(Credits: PA)
Chelsea hero Florent Malouda says he ‘doesn’t recognise’ the club under Mauricio Pochettino and says the Argentine should stop talking about a ‘project’ at Stamford Bridge.
The Argentine replaced Graham Potter in the summer, returning to England for the first time since he was sacked by Tottenham in 2019.
Chelsea had spent around £800m under Todd Boehly before Pochettino’s appointment, but their spending surpassed the £1bn mark last summer as the Argentine signed off moves for Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia amongst others.
Despite impressive showings against Spurs and Manchester City in their last two outings, Chelsea have made an indifferent start to the campaign under Pochettino.
The Blues sit in 10th, taking 16 points from their first 12 matches in the Premier League.

Chelsea have lost four, drawn four and won four of their 12 matches, despite having no European football to play this term.
And Malouda, who spent six years at the club before leaving in 2013,
‘I don’t really recognise them, except for the colour of the shirt,’ said Malouda.
‘I think the club is using too many key words about the project or whatever.
‘It takes time to build anything of value but since the new ownership, I don’t see any stability from the management.’
