Fulham started brightly as ex-Arsenal man Reiss Nelson forced two stunning saves from Brentford keeper Mark Flekken.
But the visitors went in front with 24 minutes on the clock as Janelt fired an incredible long distance effort into the back of the net.
Fulham pushed hard for the equaliser but Brentford, who have not kept a Premier League clean sheet all season, were seemingly standing firm.
But they were finally undone by two moments of magic from Wilson.
Adama Traore crossed the ball and the Welsh winger jumped and flicked the ball towards the goal with the outside of his boot.
And it looped over Flekken and dropped into the back of the net in stoppage time.
But Brentford still nearly won it and were denied by Bernd Leno.
Only for Fulham to go down the other end and for Wilson to head brilliantly into the top corner in the 97th minute.
