Giants’ Cam Skattebo Announces Career Move After Injury

The New York Giants were enjoying an action-packed 2025-26 season with rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart and rookie running back Cameron Skattebo having incredible chemistry on the field. But, the fun ended on Sunday, October 26, when Skattebo was injured during the team’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles on the road.

Up until that moment, Dart and Skattebo were inseparable on the field. Before the injury, Skattebo had clocked 410 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns on 101 carries, as well as 207 receiving yards and 2 receiving touchdowns on 24 receptions, for a total of 617 yards from scrimmage and 7 touchdowns, according to NFL research. His numbers even led all NFL rookies in scrimmage yards, ESPN numbers report.

So, now Skattebo is sidelined for the season and will motivate the team watching from afar. But, he’s going to be keeping busy during his injury time, because Skattebo has announced some news on a new career venture.

Career News for New York Giants Running Back Cam Skattebo

The New York Giants, who have a 2-7 record, will take on the 5-3 Chicago Bears on the road on Sunday, November 9. Skattebo won’t be able to play in the game, but he’s keeping busy elsewhere.

The Giants’ fourth-round pick out of Arizona State has announced a partnership with Lovesac, a modern furniture company famous for its “StealthTech” design, which puts speakers and wireless chargers right into its furniture in a futuristic way. Lovesac has partnered with athletes before, including snowboarding great Shaun White and Bills safety Damar Hamlin.

In a video shared on social media by Skattebo and Lovesac’s official accounts, the running back says. “Run through a wall, then relax and vibe on my Lovesac StealthTech. That’s my gameplan.”

On Intagram, he stated, “All the way up. Lovesac Sactionals with StealthTech surround sound takes gaming and relaxation to a whole new level,” with the hashtag that he’s a Lovesac partner.

New York Giants Take on Chicago Bears

The New York Giants are underdogs heading into their into the Chicago Bears game on Sunday. In a feature published on Thursday, November 6, Jon Hoefling of USA Today looks at the research and numbers and says, “While Chicago’s great run game has come at the cost of Rome Odunze’s production, I’m sure no Bears fans mind. The Giants will be unable to stop Chicago, similar to what happened against San Francisco.”

Blake Schuster adds, “Chicago got extremely lucky last week while facing a Bengals defense that couldn’t stop the most frustrating offense in the NFC. I don’t expect the Bears will need to score as much against this New York club.”

In a separate piece, Jordan Raanan of ESPN sadly notes, “The Giants haven’t been able to stop the run this season — really, for the past four seasons. They’re allowing an NFL-worst 5.5 yards per carry and have allowed over 30 points in three straight games.” He also says that “it’s not going to get any easier against the Bears’ second-ranked rushing offense.”

So, it’s not going to be an easy game against the Bears in Chicago. But, Ben Johnson has been struggling this season, too, so the Giants have a chance to pull off an upset.
