The New York Giants have been forging ahead without their budding, rookie running back Cam Skattebo, who was injured during the team’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles on the road on Sunday, October 26. Having Skattebo out is a huge loss for the Giants, especially since he was developing a real chemistry with fellow rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart.
So, just show good was Skattebo? Before getting injured, Skattebo had registered 410 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns on 101 carries, plus 207 receiving yards and 2 receiving touchdowns on 24 receptions, for a total of 617 yards from scrimmage and 7 touchdowns, according to NFL research. He also was at the top of all NFL rookies in scrimmage yards, according to reported numbers from ESPN.
So, Skattebo is out for the season, but that doesn’t mean he’s sitting at home with nothing to do. On Monday, November 17, the running back made a surprise appearance in front of a crowd, even while resting during his injury recovery.
New York Giants Running Back Cam Skattebo Shows Up in Unexpected Place
Those watching “Monday Night Raw” on Monday got to see a surprise appearance from Skattebo. During the program, got in a fight with Dominik Mysterio and “had some help from Andrew Shultz,” notes NFL personality Jordan Schulz.
“The New York Giants star running back and comedian Andrew Schulz end up in a shoving match with The Judgment Day following their loss on Monday Night Raw at Madison Square Garden,” the WWE shared on YouTube.
“New York boys standing up to Judgment Day,” one commenter said on the YouTube video. “Tell Cam to stay at home we need him 100% next year,” another said.
Skattebo, indeed, is resting up, so he won’t be making any serious WWE appearances anytime soon, if ever. His injury was a season-ending one, so he’ll be back with the Giants on the field for the 2026-26 season.
Cam Skattebo is Keeping Busy During His Time Off From the New York Giants
The New York Giants drafted Skattebo in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft on April 26 with the 105th overall pick, and he’s been proving one of the smartest moves of the draft. Unfortunately, the running back is sidelined for the entire rest of the season, but he’s still keeping a high profile, and the WWE appearance is just one example.
The Arizona State product recently announced a partnership with Lovesac, a modern furniture company famous for its “StealthTech” design, which puts speakers and wireless chargers right into its furniture in a futuristic way. Lovesac has partnered with athletes before, including snowboarding legend Shaun White and Bills safety Damar Hamlin.
In a video shared on social media by Skattebo and Lovesac’s official accounts, the running back says. “Run through a wall, then relax and vibe on my Lovesac StealthTech. That’s my gameplan.”
He also announced the partnership on his personal Instagram account, stating, “All the way up. Lovesac Sactionals with StealthTech surround sound takes gaming and relaxation to a whole new level,” with the hashtag that he’s a Lovesac partner.
