Harry Kane believes Paris Saint-Germain are ‘slight favourites’ against Arsenal in the Champions League final but predicts it will be an ‘even match’ in Budapest.
Mikel Arteta’s side secured their place in the Champions League final with a 1-0 victory at home to Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.
Bayern, meanwhile, needed to overturn a 5-4 defeat to PSG from their first leg at the Parc des Princes last week but after going a goal down after three minutes at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday evening, Vincent Kompany’s side were unable to find the net until Kane’s equaliser in the fourth minute of injury time.
PSG are now aiming to win the competition for the second time in the club’s history, while Arsenal are in their first Champions League final since their defeat to Barcelona in 2006.
Speaking after Bayern’s exit on Wednesday night, Kane was asked for his verdict on the final between Arsenal and PSG.
‘I think it’s really even,’ Kane said.

‘Two totally different teams in the way they play but two very strong teams.
‘It will be an interesting final, for sure. I think PSG being the reigning champions obviously hold the right to maybe be slight favourites.
‘But overall I think it will be two top teams going at it, it’ll be an even match.’
Meanwhile, Luis Enrique insists Arsenal deserve their place in the Champions League final, which takes place on May 30.
‘It’s going to be a different final,’ Luis Enrique said.
‘But Mikel Arteta, they did it great, they deserved to get to the final. They have been performing the whole season at a high level, they were unbelievable during the whole season.
‘But it’s a final, they want to win it, I think it would be their first. We want to continue making history in Paris, and to make history we need to win the second one in a row.’
