Best played over 350 times for the Red Devils and was voted in FIFA’s Team of the Century.

The new range draws inspiration from Man Utd‘s 1967-68 European Cup winning season.

Utd beat Benfica 4-1 in the final, with Best scoring in extra time at Wembley.

Current Utd stars Marcus Rashford, Casemiro, Mason Mount and Ethan Wheatley all modelled the new apparel.

The George Best Collection features a shirt, jogging bottoms and a zip-up top, all decked out in an iconic Utd dark blue.

Club legends Bryan Robson and Andy Cole were also in the photo shoot to launch the line, which features Manchester’s coat of arms.

And behind the camera was none other than movie star and Slow Horses actor Gary Oldman.

One fan commented on X: “The George Best collection shot on a vintage Chamonix camera by THE Gary Oldman is a pretty cool sentence to write on a rainy Friday, fair play to adidas & MUFC.”

Another said: “Belfast born, Manchester made, and now a collection that honours his greatness, George Best’s influence lives on.”

While a third added: “This collection captures George Best’s spirit perfectly! Proud to celebrate such an iconic player.”

Oldman is an avid Utd fan and regularly rocks up to games at Old Trafford.

He surprised watching fans by appearing on TNT Sports ahead of a clash against Everton in March.

Oldman won an Oscar for Best Actor in 2018 for his performance in Darkest Hour, depicting Winston Churchill.

He celebrated receiving the prestigious award in a Utd shirt, signed by Marcus Rashford.

Man Utd’s official Instagram posted the picture, captioning it: “How to top off a trophy-winning night at the #Oscars?

“A personalised shirt from your favourite #MUFC player, of course!

“Well played @MarcusRashford and congrats on your award, Gary.”

When asked earlier this year if he would swap his gong for a Premier League title, without hesitation Oldman answered: “Yes!”
