KODEBREAKER (5.40 Redcar, nap)

He ran his best race for a long time when going from the front here last time out. Michael Herrington’s hopeful enjoyed forcing the pace under a 3lb claimer and today’s booking of front-runner king Silvestre De Sousa looks wise. He’s back from the same mark as last time and the drop back a furlong will help him to fight off his rivals.

COCO ROYALE (5.15 Goodwood, nb)

This Frankel filly signed off last season with a win has taken two of her three outings in this campaign. The first of those was over this trip at Sandown on soft and she wasn’t stopping over two miles when scooting in at Kempton 18 days ago. William Haggas continues in fine form and can bag another winner with Tom Marquand.

MARIS ANGEL (5.05 Redcar, treble)

She has won her past two and didn’t break sweat when scoring by more than two lengths over course and distance last week. She tanked along there and should have no problem defying a 6lb penalty.

STATUARIO (3.03 Perth, treble)

He acquitted himself well in a hot handicap at Galway last month after an excellent third in the Summer Plate at Market Rasen. He’s won four times at this track and can add to his tally.
