How to Watch NFL London Game: Vikings vs. Browns TV, Live Stream & Start Time

The NFL continues its international outreach program on Sunday when the league stages its 40th regular season game in London, England. This time, the Cleveland Browns are listed as the “home” team at London’s six-year-old, state of the art, 62,850-seat Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, when they take on the Minnesota Vikings who will be playing overseas for the second straight week.

The Vikings were edged by the Pittsburgh Steelers last week in the first-ever official NFL game played in Dublin, Ireland, 24-21. The NFL, however, has been playing regular season games in London since October 28, 2007, when the New York Giants took on the Miami Dolphins at Wembley Stadium. (The Giants won, 13-10.)

With the Vikings vs. Browns matchup as the first of three games in London this year, 2025 will bring the total of NFL London games to 42. The Vikings also played in London last season, defeating the New York Jets there. The Browns last brought their brand of “American football” to London in 2017.

The game will also mark only the 18th-ever clash between the Vikings and Browns, in a series that dates back to 1965. In the pre-Super Bowl era, both the Browns and Vikings played in what was then the 14 team NFL, which only a year later would agree to merge with the upstart American Football League.

But in 1965, the Browns won 11 games while losing only three to win the NFL East Division, only to lose to West Division winners the Green Bay Packers in the NFL championship game. One of the Browns regular season losses came to the Vikings, 27-17 on October 31. Overall, the Vikings have won 12 of the 17 previous meetings.

For the Browns in 2025, the London game will see the NFL starting debut of quarterback Dillon Gabriel, who takes over from the benched Joe Flacco, and becomes the first graduate of a Hawaii public high school to start an NFL game at quarterback.

How to Watch the Vikings vs. Browns London Game

The NFL’s latest foray into the London market for a regular season game kicks off at 2:30 p.m. British Summer Time in London. As with most of the NFL’s international games, that means a bright-and-early start for fans who want to watch the game stateside.

Kickoff for the Vikings vs. Browns game is set for 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time for viewers in the United States, or 6:30 a.m. for fans in the Pacific Time Zone, on Sunday, October 5.

The game will be carried live on cable television by the NFL Network, with veteran play-by-play announcer Kenny Albert — who at 32 years and counting is the longest-tenured NFL announcer on Fox Sports, who loan him to the NFL Network for Sunday’s London game — calling the action.

Retired, three-time Pro Bowl linebacker for the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints Jonathan Vilma will be in the booth with Albert providing in-game analysis of the Vikings-Browns showdown.

Local TV and Live Streaming Options

Viewers in the local Minnesota and Cleveland markets who do not have access to NFL Network will be able to watch the broadcast on over-the-air TV stations KMSP (FOX 9) in Minneapolis, and WEWS (ABC 5) in Cleveland, Ohio.

To watch the game online via live stream, fans will require a paid subscription to the NFL’s own streaming platform. NFL+.

Other “over-the-top” streaming services, which require more expensive paid subscriptions, such as DirecTV, Hulu Plus Live TV, and Fubo also carry the NFL Network, making the game available by live stream through those platforms as well.
