Ian Wright has urged Arsenal fans to ignore the celebration police and lap up the fact they are into the Champions League final.
The Gunners beat Atletico Madrid 1-0 at the Emirates on Tuesday night, downing the Spanish side 2-1 on aggregate.
Bukayo Saka scored the only goal of the game, which offered little in terms of entertaining football, but a fair deal in tension, with so much on the line.
Mikel Arteta’s team will now take on either Paris Saint-Germain or Bayern Munich in the Budapest final, looking to win the top honour in European football for the first time in the club’s history.
It is only the second time the Gunners have played a Champions League final, having finished runners-up in 2006, so it is an incredibly rare achievement by the club’s standards.
There were certainly scenes of joy in the stadium after the final whistle, with players, coaches and staff celebrating wildly as fireworks were let off.
Arsenal legend Wright was all for the party atmosphere, telling fans to ignore anyone trying to quell the celebrations.

‘Arsenal fans, let me tell you something — enjoy this. The celebration police will be out in force, do not get nicked!’ Wright said in a social media video.
‘Enjoy yourselves, football is about moments and this is a big moment.
‘Enjoy it and let’s hope that in the final and after the final we have another massive moment. It’s a great day, it’s a great day!’
There have been critics of Arsenal’s huge celebrations before a trophy has been won, unsurprisingly one of them being former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara.
‘You have to give credit where it’s due. They got a favourable run, but that’s because they finished top of the group so they deserved it,’ he said on Sky Sports. ‘Well done, but they’ve done nothing yet. Nothing!
‘People keep saying it’s a big night in Arsenal’s history. What are you on about? You won the semi-final. When they win the final and if they win the Premier League and do the double, then we can talk about what an amazing season and what a history-making season that is. Right now, they’re in the final. Well done.’
He added: ‘Look, enjoy the moment. Football is about moments. I remember when Spurs got there and I went mad. It’s an incredible moment, you’ve got yourselves to the final.
‘There was a lot of celebrating. The pyrotechnics they had at the Emirates, the fireworks going off. I was expecting them to bring out the Champions League trophy then! Calm down! You ain’t won it yet.’
Wayne Rooney was on punditry duty for Amazon Prime at the match and also felt Arsenal went too far.
‘They deserve to be in this position but they haven’t won it yet,’ he said. ‘I think the celebrations are a little bit too much. Celebrate when you win!’
Legendary Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was fine with celebrations on the night of a big win, but only if focus immediately returns ahead of the next Premier League outing and the upcoming Champions League final.
‘They celebrate well tonight – that is normal, but you want more for them to focus on the final already and the next game,’ Wenger said on beIN Sports.
‘The celebration is deserved, happiness is absolutely normal, but now the next step is to go to the final and win it.’
Arsenal have three Premier League games to play, knowing that if they winthem they will be champions. The first of those games comes at West Ham on Sunday.
