Kieran McKenna’s men are looking for their first top-flight win of the season as the Toffees visit East Anglia.
But an issue with the turnstiles means fans will have to wait a little while longer for action to get going.
Ipswich’s official X account wrote: “We are aware of an issue with the turnstiles, impacting supporters’ entry to Portman Road ahead of this afternoon’s game.
“We ask for your patience as we work on a solution.”
The account later clarified the game would now start at 3.15pm.
