Manchester United have received a £20m transfer offer from Roma for England international Jadon Sancho.
Sancho is part of Ruben Amorim’s bomb squad at Old Trafford along with the likes of Alejandro Garnacho and Antony.
The 25-year-old has been in talks with a number of Serie A clubs this summer over a move away from Manchester United.
Roma have jumped to the front of the queue to sign the winger by offering United a permanent deal worth £20m.
Gian Piero Gasperini is determined to secure a move for Sancho and Roma have indicated they are open to signing him on loan or permanently.

Manchester United are yet to respond to the offer but, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Sancho has already given the green light to the move.
Another transfer option for Sancho is Besiktas, who have confirmed interest in a deal, but he does not want to go to Turkey at this stage of his career.
Sancho was hoping to earn a permanent move to Chelsea after spending last season on loan at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea had the option to sign him for £25m but decided instead to pay a £5m penalty to United to send him back to Old Trafford.
With his United career seemingly over, Sancho looks set to leave the club having made 83 appearances, scoring 12 goals.
He will be regarded as one of United’s worst-ever signings, having cost £73m back in 2021.
Sancho has enjoyed three productive seasons at Borussia Dortmund before his move to Manchester and established himself as an England regular.
But the form he displayed in Germany largely deserted him in the Premier League and his last England appearance was back in 2021.

Discussing Sancho last week, ex-Manchester United striker Teddy Sheringham said he would ‘never play for a big club again’.
‘Jadon Sancho will definitely not play for a big club ever again,’ United hero Sheringham told Snabbare. ‘He will probably tell you that he can and he will but not for me.
‘I see that he’s burned his bridges with the manager. He’s not even got a place in the changing room.
‘Maybe if he’d be given another chance he could work for what Amorim wants but I know from experience once you’ve gone down that path of being unhappy and wanting out that it’s very hard to turn it around with the manager, with the supporters, with the other players.
‘You’ve got to show an unbelievable mental desire to turn that around. It can be done, and I know he’s a talented lad, but I would be very, very surprised if that was the case now.’
After offloading Sancho, Manchester United will turn their attentions to deals for Garnacho and Antony.
Chelsea are interested in signing the former but are currently unwilling to match United’s asking price, while Antony is hoping to seal a return to Real Betis after impressing in La Liga last season.
