Jarrod Bowen has indicated that he is prepared to stay at West Ham next season following the club’s relegation from the Premier League.

West Ham will be playing their football in the Championship next season after they were unable to avoid the drop on the final day of the Premier League campaign on Sunday.

The Hammers sealed a 3-0 win at home to Leeds United but it wasn’t enough as Tottenham finished two points ahead of them with a 1-0 win against Everton.

Bowen has been at West Ham for six years but after another impressive season in which he finished with nine Premier League goals, the 29-year-old has been linked with several clubs including Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle.

During his post-match interview after the club’s relegation, Bowen was initially asked whether he would like to see Nuno Espirito Santo stay at West Ham for their Championship campaign next season.

‘Listen, it’s still very, very raw. Talking about futures is disrespectful to the club, the fans, everything like that,’ Bowen replied.

‘This club deserves to be in the Premier League. That’s our aim now, this season is done, our aim now is to get back in the Premier League. That’s as simple as it is.’

When asked about his own future, Bowen replied: ‘Like I said, it’s disrespectful to everyone to start speaking about futures and saying what’s going to happen.

‘Like I said, I want this club to be in the Premier League. It’s a club that means so much to me, that’s given me so much, so my vision is getting this club back in the Premier League.’
