Josh Allen Announcement is Crushing News for Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts

The Buffalo Bills have a lot to be pumped about heading into the 2025 season, and a big part of that is having their newly-married, MVP-winning quarterback Josh Allen back to lead the team. Even though Allen has never been to the big game, his numbers show that he’s actually a better quarterback than many of the signal-callers who has.

On Thursday, June 26, Allen got recognized for something major in the NFL that blows away any of the most recent Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks. The Buffalo Bills have to feel pretty good about this news.

Josh Allen is the King in a Certain Area

Football is on the way, and pretty soon, July will be here, which marks the start of the Buffalo Bills’ training camp. So, right now, it’s still kind of a downtime in the sport and a good time to reflect on some statistics over the years.

During the 2024 season, Allen clocked 3,731 yards and 28 touchdown passes, plus notched 531 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground, so there’s no denying this skills and talents.

In his past three seasons with the team, Allen has made 126 total touchdowns. So, let’s compare that to the other biggest touchdown stars in the NFL as of late. According to PFF, Allen has 21 more touchdown than Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles. He also beats out Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs and Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals tied for third in the number of touchdowns, with Mahomes and Burrow being tied.

Built in Buffalo shared an image of the results on Instagram, adding that “Josh Allen is simply a touchdown machine,” which is for real. There’s no stopping Allen, especially with the right offensive around him.

“Just proves our defense was/is the problem,” one follower stated on the post. Another made the comment that Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens, one of the Bills’ rivals, was not included on the tally.


Buffalo Bills Gear Up for What’s Next

Up next, the Buffalo Bills have their 2025 training camp, which will start on July 23. The event will feature 11 practices in Rochester, New York, to prep for the 2025 season. The team has also announced that the return of the Blue & Red on Aug. 1 at Highmark Stadium.

As for training, 2025 will mark Allen’s first full season under offensive coordinator Joe Brady. It’s not going to be more of the same, and expect a more energized offense this season.

“You don’t get to pick off where you left off, and we really don’t want to,” Brady said in a chat with press. “Josh embodies that, we’re starting over. When it’s install one, it’s the most basic. We have to master the system at every level. Sometimes you think you know everything, if you really humble yourself to just starting over, there’s always little things you can pick up.”

Brady added, “With a guy like Josh, you get the MVP, you’re trying to just continue to challenge him in ways, and he wants it all. But every year is a new year.”
