During the game, Allen linked up with tight end Dalton Kincaid for the first touchdown of the game. Then, later, when Allen ran the ball in for a touchdown, he made a bit of NFL history. According to Buffalo Bills stats, Allen surpassed Cam Newton for the most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback, including the playoffs, in NFL history. That stat, as well as other Allen antics, earned attention from viewers.

During the game, Allen completed 23 of 26 passes for 273 yards and three total touchdowns, according to NFL research. Allen’s hard work and snagging the NFL honor didn’t go unnoticed.
“Josh Allen things,” the Bills posted on X following the quarterback’s touchdown. Followers were quick to respond with kind statements. “Breaking records is his thing,” one noted. “Watching history every week,” another said. “Like rewriting gravity with a spiral,” another commented.
Allen also drew some attention when he did a flop during the game, which skeptical viewers chocked up to trying to draw a flag. “Josh Allen’s acting career is better than his wife’s at this point,” one said. “Drama master. Flopping like that looking for yards should be a flag man.” Another added, “Josh Allen with the a flop. Thought it was only Mahomes who did that.” “Josh Allen can be an incredibly likable quarterback… except for the flopping. Give it up dude,” one more added.
But, overall, the comments were positive. “Today looks like bright-eyed Josh. Classic aggressive Josh. Let’s go,” one said. “Anytime Mahomes and the Chiefs go down, I’m happy. And the better QB of the two did it. Congratulations,” another added. “Josh Allen is my hero,” another stated.
Buffalo Bills Got the Best of the Kansas City Chiefs
Following the game, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid talked about the team’s frustrating loss. “We’ve got to do a little better than that, obviously, when you’re playing a good football team,” Reid told the media. “It starts with me doing my job better and giving our guys an opportunity and put them in good positions where they can make some plays.”
He also took responsibility. “Listen, I could’ve helped the guys out, and I didn’t do a very good job of that. And then we’ve got to obviously do a little better when given that opportunity.”
Now, the Kansas City Chiefs will head into their bye week with this loss on their minds. The Buffalo Bills’ next game is Sunday, November 9, against the Miami Dolphins.
