The Buffalo Bills nabbed their second consecutive win after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 28-21 in Week 9.
Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who made NFL history during the victory, was proud of his team. “They’re the pinnacle of what you want your franchise to be,” he told reporters of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. “They’ve been that for the last eight years. Any time you get a chance to play the best and you can come away with a victory, you’re going to be feeling pretty good.”
Allen and Co. to keep that momentum going when they take on the Miami Dolphins in Week 10. Fans hope to see the league MVP’s wife, Hailee Steinfeld, at Hard Rock Stadium for the AFC East showdown.
While some fans accused the 29-year-old quarterback of losing his focus after revealing how Steinfeld taught him that he’s “more than a football player,” Bills backup Mitch Trubisky quickly shut down that narrative. Allen’s game is fueled by his love for Steinfeld.

“She’s everything I need in my life,” he told ESPN’s Marty Smith before the bye week. “Getting married was the coolest, it was the most important day of my life. I get to understand that what I do is not normal, but I’d also be content with a different part of my life, however that may have looked.”
Steinfeld shared a similar sentiment in an interview published on November 4. The 28-year-old actress also revealed plans to expand their family.
Bills QB Josh Allen, Hailee Steinfeld Look Forward to Having Kids
While Steinfeld earns Oscar buzz for role as Mary in the hit film, “Sinners,” she told Bustle that Allen gave her an added confidence before taking on the part.
“Oh my God, absolutely,” she said of feeling anchored as an artist after marrying Allen. “That inner peace that you have, that rock, that solid, consistent part of your life is indescribable. I literally thank God every day that I found my person, and it’s the greatest thing in the world.”
“Life makes sense. Everything makes sense,” she continued. “I feel like I am stepping into the version that I’ve always dreamed of being, having so much to do with being with him… Timing is everything. Where I’m at professionally, mentally, emotionally — if this part had come into my life any sooner, I wouldn’t have been able to take it on.”
When asked if she’s thinking about kids, “Of course,” Steinfeld answered without hesitation.
At the moment, however, Allen is focused on bringing Buffalo its first-ever Lombardi Trophy while Steinfeld already has her next film lined up. She’s starring opposite Miles Teller in a romantic sports comedy entitled “Winter Games.”

“It’s the best,” Allen said of being a married man. “Honestly. I truly, I enjoy it, I love it. I think there’s a lot of freedom in it. And you know what? We’re always going to be in the honeymoon phase. How about that?…
“Going to Paris or Italy for fashion weeks, nobody over there knows who I am and we walk into a hotel and people are lined up trying to get photos, autographs and pictures and yeah, it’s pretty crazy. She’s a freaking rockstar. I love her and I don’t know how she does it, but she does it.”
