The Buffalo Bills quarterback, Josh Allen returned to Orchard Park with a wedding ring around his finger for the first time this week.
Allen and actress Hailee Steinfeld said, “I do,” at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara on May 31. Numerous of Allen’s teammates, including Bills head coach Sean McDermott, attended the nuptials.
Speaking to reporters on June 10, a huge smile appeared on the 29-year-old’s face while answering questions about their nuptials. When a reporter asked, “What’s new?” Allen couldn’t help but laugh.
“We’re back to football. I’ve got some new hardware now,” he said, gesturing toward his wedding ring. And so, we’re ready to go.”
Between winning the AP’s Most Valuable Player Award and signing a new six-year, $330 million contract, Allen called marrying Steinfeld the “most important decision” of his life.
“I mean they’ve all been big none other than marrying my best friend,” Allen said. “And she makes everything easier, so I don’t really focus on the other stuff. That was the most important decision I’ll make in my life, and I made the right one.”
While Allen kept details about the wedding to a minimum during the press conference, he and Steinfeld shared exciting news about their big day in her newsletter, Beau Society.

After getting married, Allen was understandably absent from the second week of Organized Team Activities. While fans wondered if the famous couple jetted off on honeymoon, Steinfeld confirmed they escaped after the wedding.
She wrote in Friday’s newsletter, “The next day, Josh and I ran off into the sunset to our honeymoon (more on that later?). Now we’re back, and it’s been a whole 13 days of being married, and we’ll be staying on this high forever!”
The night before they married, they had an intimate dinner with immediate family. “It was just the fourteen of us; a calm before the festivities,” she revealed. “At one point, Griffin [Steinfeld] unexpectedly prompted the question, ‘When did you know Hailee and Josh were meant to be together?’ Everyone went around and shared tiny, sweet, thoughtful, and funny observations. It was so special.”
Friends arrived the following day for the welcome party. “The dress code was ‘vibrant elegance.’ It felt like a garden party, so fun and an entirely different vibe than our wedding day, which was ‘all-black black tie’ and felt very classic and bold.”
After exchanging vows, the couple sliced into a lemon olive oil wedding cake with buttercream and hit the dance floor while an incredible band played. “Entering our reception for the first time was unforgettable,” she wrote. “So much JOY. And the flowers! The red candelabras! The dance floor! The stage! The chandeliers?!! All of our people!”
Steinfeld gushed over their wedding night, which included an after-party that ended with guests jumping in the pool at 3 a.m.

No photos were leaked from the couple’s wedding because they asked their guests to leave their phones in their hotel room.
“We had the amazing Jose Villa and his team with us from Thursday through Sunday to capture all the love. We had a no-phone wedding — we wanted everyone to come and be present,” Steinfeld wrote. “Looking back, it was one of the best decisions we made. But that meant Jose had his work cut out for him, capturing all the magic for us.”
