Lane Kiffin Sends Message About Coaching Rumors
Per ESPN’s Andrea Andelson, Lane Kiffin sounds like his heart lies in Oxford:
“I love what we’re doing here, and today was awesome. I don’t talk about that stuff. And really, to even talk about it right now would be so disrespectful to our players and how well they played today.”

“The ‘last chapter’ thing makes me feel like I’m 80 years old. I don’t like being old, so I don’t really like that part of the story, which makes me feel like I’m in my last chapter.”
Patrons at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium showed their support for Lane Kiffin when “We Want Lane” chants broke out during Saturday’s game. It’s easy to understand why Ole Miss fans want Kiffin to stay. He’s brought the Rebel football program back into contention.

Florida is one of the few really attractive head coaching destinations, along with Penn State, Virginia Tech, and LSU.
A coach as good as Kiffin isn’t just restricted to college football either. Other reports show that the Tennessee Titans of the NFL have also shown interest.

Kiffin expressed his gratitude to the university later in his press conference with the media. Although the rumors may be the forefront of the coveted head coach, the most important football is ahead for the Ole Miss Rebels.
