Arsenal have submitted their opening offer for Leicester City’s teenage prodigy Jeremy Monga.
The Gunners are looking to bolster their attacking options this summer and have already identified several high-profile targets in the shape of Julian Alvarez and Morgan Rogers.
Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola is also of interest, while Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi is also firmly on the radar of the Premier League champions.
As well as recruiting attackers capable of making an immediate impact, Arsenal are also refining their transfer strategy when it comes to signing some of Europe’s most promising young talents.

Monga certainly fits that category and as such Arsenal have started the bidding with an offer of £5million.
Reports earlier this week claimed the Premier League champions had agreed a fee for the 16-year-old but Leicester are now said to have dismissed an offer, according to The Times, and have made their demands clear.
The Foxes are reported to want an initial fee of £10m plus a 15 per cent sell-on clause.
If a transfer fee cannot be agreed, a tribunal would take place where Leicester would receive significant compensation.
Arsenal, however, would prefer to avoid such a scenario and are seeking a swift resolution which would allow Monga to take a full part in pre-season training.
Monga has attracted interest from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City having made his Premier League debut 5 years and 271 days against Newcastle United back in April 2025.
As well as Monga, Arsenal are also hopeful of poaching Elijah Upson, the son of their former defender Matthew Upson from local rivals Tottenham.
Phoenix Blayney, Larne’s 15-year-old goalkeeper, is also destined to sign, but it is far from one-way traffic with Arsenal fighting to keep hold of some of their best emerging talent.
Kyren Thompson could make the opposite journey to Upson with Spurs confident of securing a deal for the talented winger, while Emerson Nwaneri, the younger brother of Ethan, is attracting significant interest from elsewhere.
