Nunez set a new Premier League record when he struck the woodwork four times in the 4-1 win against Chelsea on Tuesday but did manage an assist to help his side ease to victory.
The win kept Liverpool five points clear at the top of the league ahead of Arsenal and Manchester City with Jurgen Klopp’s side heading to the Emirates on Sunday.
Nunez however is struggling with a foot injury having left Anfield wearing a protective boot on Tuesday night.
While X-rays have shown nothing to be broken, it remains to be seen if he will make the trip down south.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Friday, Klopp said: ‘You probably didn’t know, I don’t know if Darwin will be available or not.
‘Darwin after 20 minutes, someone stepped on his foot and it was very painful. 20 minutes after the game he took the boot off because he didn’t want to see it before because he knew it was something.

‘So he left the stadium in a boot and it was not a football boot. So nothing broken, the X-ray was clear but we have to see if he can get his foot back into his boot because we all know it takes time.
‘I didn’t see him this morning. So we have to wait a little bit.’
Liverpool are also likely to remain without Mohamed Salah.
The forward suffered a hamstring injury in Egypt’s Africa Cup of Nations group clash against Ghana on 18 March, returning to Merseyside for treatment.
Egypt have since crashed out of the competition with Salah sharing a picture of himself back on the training pitch on Wednesday.
Salah’s agent predicted the Liverpool star would be facing three weeks on the sidelines when he offered an update on the forward at the beginning of last week.
